ICPA Diplomate Terms For Participation and Achievement

Entry into Diplomate Program: All Applicants completing the I.C.P.A. Diplomate Part Two:

I understand I am required be a practicing chiropractor, currently enrolled in or having completed the ICPA 180 Hour Certification Program (Part One).

I understand I must :

  • have current membership in the I.C.P.A.
  • make application to the ICPA to participate in the Diplomate program.

Diplomate Final Exam Eligibility:

Next Diplomate Exam: September 22-23, 2012 in Philadelphia.

In order to sit for the Diplomate examination I am acknowledging:

  • I have completed the 180 Hour Ceritification Program and successfully passed the Certification Exam. Visit this Link
  • I am actively enrolled in the ICPA/ PBRN for Certification Visit this Link
  • I am acknowleging that I have made application to the ICPA Diplomate program (Part Two) Visit this Link
  • I will pay the exam fee to the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice. Visit this Link
  • I am agreeing to complete all Diplomate requirements (listed below) and have these requirements completed two years from the current exam date.

Final Diplomate Status Eligibility:
I acknowlege the satisfactory completion of these Diplomate Requirments for Final Diplomate Status:

  • Case Study Course Visit this Link
  • Registration and submission of final Case Study Paper on Research Forum Visit this Link
  • Two ICPA/ Practiced Based Research Projects (PBRN's) in accordance with patient quota for each project. Visit this Link
  • Participation in Clinical Rounds. Visit this Link

  • Certification in CPR/ First Aid for infant and children through my local Red Cross with faxed certification to ICPA.
  • Attendance to with presentation of a Research Case Study Poster at the ICPA's next Conference.

Diplomate Status:

The candidate, upon successful completion of all requirements and examinations will receive the title of Diplomate with the initials: DACCP. Diplomates understand that the usage of letters after their name and the recognition of diplomate status is a state by state regulation. It is the responsibility iof each Docotr to stay in accordance with their practicing state's regulation in their declaration and advertising of Diplomate status.

The Academy's Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics  oversees the writing, testing and grading of the exams and Diplomate program with consult from the Academy Board. 

Graduation:

There is an annual graduation ceremony for all Diplomates. Diplomas will be issued at that time, although graduates can begin to call themselves Diplomates upon notification of their successful completion of all exams and requirments.

Maintenance of Achieved Diplomate Status:

I agree to maintain recognition of certification status from the Academy by maintaining Academy membership. Visit this Link

I agree to fulfill 12 hours of Academy approved education annually. Visit this Link

I understand that maintenance of Diplomate status comes with continued licensure to practice, malpractice insurance, membership to the Academy and ICPA and fulfillment of annual hours of continuing education credits with designated classes and/ or research projects.

I understand that failure to maintain my membership after graduation will result in an additional reinstatement fee.

I understand that advertising Diplomate without active, current membership will result in Academy Board review and penalty.

Co-sponsoring Colleges: Our co-sponsoring colleges are Cleveland Chiropractic Colleges (CCC), Parker College of Chiropractic, North Western Health Sciences University (NWHSU), and Life University.



Pay In Full (PIF):

By entering the Pay In Full on my registration form, and securing this discounted registration price, I am contracting to pay $2780. By entering into the Pay In Full, I am receiving a $120 discount off the Diplomate Program. Therefore, I am authorizing the ICPA to charge my credit card this full $2780 the day I submit my registration for the Pay in Full option.

Time Frame of PIF: PIF remains valid for a period of three years. It is my responsibility to complete all Diplomate Requirements within that three year period to maintain my PIF status.

Maintenance of PIF: In order to maintain my PIF or privileges, membership must be kept consecutive.

Cancellation Policy of PIF: If I choose not to continue with the entire ICPA Diplomate program, my payment will be prorated in accordance with administration and services fees rendered.

I am agreeing to keep my membership current throughout this time period of scheduled programs. Membership renewal is my responsibility.

I have agreed to these conditions for the Diplomate Pay in Full Program.



Auto Payment:

By entering the Auto-Payment Discount fee on my registration form, and securing this discounted registration price, I am authorizing the ICPA to charge my credit card $1000 immediately upon initial registration and to process two more payments of $1,00 each to be processed quarterly on the fourth and eighth month of from my initial Diplomate registration date.

Time Frame of Auto Pay: The Auto Pay option will remain valid for a period of three years.

Maintenance of Auto Payment: In order to maintain your Auto Pay privileges, membership must be kept consecutive.

Cancellation Policy of Auto Payment: If I choose not to continue with the entire ICPA Diplomate program, my payment will be prorated in accordance with administration and services fees rendered.

I am agreeing to keep my membership current throughout this time period of scheduled programs. Membership renewal is my responsibility.
