Welcome to: Ped Ex --the special e-newsletter from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
PedEx is your opportunity to spend time with us and access our many resources.Our purpose is to offer you the education, training and research pertinent to the Chiropractic Family Wellness practice.
Time sensitive Information:
During the past year, the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) has been working on an ambitious project-the first worldwide electronic survey of DC's ever performed within health care. This survey will ask all DC's to help define the core identity of the profession. DC's who are members of national political associations should have received an e-mail in late September. They would have received a code to allow them to take the survey only once.
If you are not a member of your national association or have not yet participated in the survey, you can read about this at: http://www.wfc.org/english/view_page.asp?record_id=33.
WFC is requesting that you e-mail them at: identity@wfc.org and give them your name, college and grad year and you can be included in the survey.This is time sensitive, because the survey will be posted live on the internet until October 25.
If we are happy or not happy with the worldwide "identity" of what we do everyday, it will be from the action or lack of action we take today.
News Alert:
NEWS ALERT: This Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. eastern standard time, CBS-TV "60 MINUTES" will examine parental concerns about vaccines and the position of the medical and public health community. The 15 minute segment will feature correspondent Dan Rather and interviews with physicians, mothers from the New York City area, NVIC president Barbara Loe Fisher and others. Barbara was interviewed by Dan Rather in New York City several weeks ago and filming also took place at NVIC's Vienna, VA office. You won't want to miss this special report on why some parents are questioning vaccines and how doctors are responding to their concerns.
