Happy New Year and Many Thanks
As we start the New Year, I would like to extend our personal gratitude on behalf of the ICPA Board for your continued support with on going membership and your generous, additional donations.
Your membership dues are covering the many services we offer to keep us forging ahead in the realm of Family Wellness and your donations are ensuring our success with National Advertising and Research Projects.
We
would like to take a moment to honor our 2005 donors - thse donations are
much appreciated and well used towards the fulfillment of our joint mission.
Please view this link and meet our members who have given above and beyond
their annual dues: http://www.icpa4kids.com/donors/donors.htm
Membership:
Renewals
and address updates.
We thank all of you for your speedy membership renewals and are glad that
most of you are opting for our automatic renewal service. This feature will
insure that your membership benefits will not lapse and you will stay active
on our referral directory and current with your Pathways subscription.
For those of you who want to add this feature to your services, please e-mail Tory @ membership@icpa4kids.com or call her at 610- 565-2360.
To look up and check when it's time to renew click here: http://www.icpa4kids.com/locator/renewal.php
Also, when changing your mailing or e-mail address, please make sure you
notify the ICPA as well. Just by changing your e-mail address in PedEx does
not mean that we have the new e-mail address in our membership database.
Unless you personally e-mail Tory,
these changes will not be updated and you may miss out on important announcements
pertinent to your needs.
Finally, just because you are receiving PedEx does NOT mean your membership with the ICPA is current. Use the membership locator to determine your status http://www.icpa4kids.com/locator/renewal.php
Pathways:
You should have received
or be receiving the current issue of Pathways.
To read the references for this
issue's articles visit: http://www.icpa4kids.org/research/references8.htm
We
have limited copies left of this issue, so now is the time to put
in your orders before they are all sold out.
Also, I could use patient testimonials (with permission to print) and letters
to the editor. Both can be sent to me at: info@icpa4kids.com
Our Spring issue will be coming out the last week of March, so plan ahead for your bulk orders now. It will work best if we have you orders in by March 1, 2006 to insure quick delivery.
To increase our public subscription base, we will be sending out subscription cards you can distribute in your office. We are anticipating a huge growth in subscriptions and want your families to have the first availability. Expect these soon and we thank you in advance for your help making these accessible to your patients.
One last comment: if you are purchasing Pathways in bulk and mailing them to members of your community--great!! Just be sure that when you put the person's address label on the magazine, you are also putting your return address label over ours. We have been receiving some returned Pathways and do not know what office to notify about the incorrect patient address.
Training:
ICPA Certification
and Diplomate:
The
buzz is out! We have made some awesome changes with our Certification
and Diplomate Programs. What was formerly a 120 hour Certification has
now evolved to 180 hours packed with excellent classes. Our new Diplomate
structure
includes these 180 hours as prerequisite and is designed to save the practitioner
significant time and expense. Additionally, the new curriculum emphasizes
even more clinical expertise.
We are currently in 12 locations with
these new modules, so check out all locations here: http://www.icpa4kids.com/seminars/year.php?year=One
Read about the 180
hour Certification here: http://www.icpa4kids.com/seminars/core_curriculum.htm
During this grand fathering period (2006) all previous classes
will be applied towards the new program. Find out now how your current
credits apply and take advantage of the many locations we are currently
in to complete the remaining requirements. If you have any questions about
the classes you have taken and their applicability towards the new program,
please e-mail info@icpa4kids.com for a course
by course breakdown.
