Our Public Advertising Campaign

If you have noticed an increased demand from the pregnant population for your chiropractic services, there is a reason.The ICPA does public advertising in major magazines, on many web sites and at numerous conventions on behalf of our members and the whole chiropractic profession.

Just some of the publications we have advertised in in the past year:
Pregnancy, E-pregnancy, Mothering, Midwifery Today, La Leche League's publication: New Beginnings, Lamaze Magazine: Pregnancy and ACOG's new magazine: Well Being.

Just some of the conferences we have attended on your behalf in the past year: Midwives of North America, Canadian Association of Midwives, PCA: A State Branch of American Counseling Association, Holistic Moms Network, Midwifery Today Conference, Mothering Celebration, International Cesarean Awareness Network, Pangea Holistic Pediatric Conference and the Association for Pre and Perinatal Psychology and Health to name a few. At each of these conferences, attendees receive a complimentary copy of Pathways and an ICPA rep is there to explain the Chiropractic Family Wellness Lifestyle, and perhaps even donate their speaking abilities on behalf of chiropractic. A recent survey done by the FCER revealed the high interest of doctors wanting large scale public advertising for chiropractic. Well of course! And at the ICPA we know you want advertising that promotes chiropractic family wellness care. This is why we started with pregnancy, the beginnings of the family wellness lifestyle.

We know this type of grass roots advertising is having far reaching effects for chiropractic. Although we are pleased to be the first organization in chiropractic to have taken this on, it is a huge commitment. Costs for these ads range from $7,000 to $ 20,000 annually. Booths are a bit less expensive overall, however the impact of getting Pathways out is very substantial because of the important chiropractic message it reveals to the general public. As for now, we depend on your gracious donations to make this possible, because public advertising does not give the ICPA direct return of dollars, it just gives us some good karma :) and you new patients.

HPA Alliance

A Climb to Mt. Everest

Dr. Tim Warren, ICPA member, is attempting to be the first chiropractor to summit Mt. Everest. He left in March carrying a banner to the top on behalf of chiropractic and the ICPA. (view below)

Dr. Warren will be updating his website everyday via a satellite phone and PDA from Mt. Everest.

Seminars: ICPA Certification/ Diplomate

The ICPA certification classes are the most sought out classes on chiropractic for children and pregnancy. Take advantage of these classes while they are in your area. License renewal is applied for in surrounding states.

It has been brought to our attention that some chiropractic malpractice carriers may NOT cover chiropractic care while a woman is in labor. We know for sure that both CBS and ChiroSecure do cover adjustments for women in labor and we strongly suggest you double check on your policy to make sure you are getting what you expect from it.
