A: Each seminar is 12 hours.
Q: Do I need to be a member to attend the seminars?
A: No, you do not have to be a member to take the seminars. The ICPA seminars are open to members and non-members.
Q: Who are the seminars open to?
A: The certification classes are open to both chiropractors and students.
Q: Are the seminars open to other non-practitioners?

Q: How do I register for a seminar?

Registration for the Parker College location is through the postgraduate department at Parker-#1-800-266-4723.
Registration for the NWHS location is through the postgraduate department at NWHS-#952-888-4777.
Q: When do I have to register for a seminar by?
A: The early registration fee is Thursday 12 noon before the seminar weekend. There is an additional $25 fee for registering anyime after that at the door.
Q: Can I attend an individual seminar or do I have to attend the entire series?
A: Yes, you can enroll in individual classes without enrolling in the entire series.
Q: Do I have to take the seminars in a specific order?
A: You are not required to take the seminars in any specific order, however if you are taking classes towards certification, the order they are scheduled is the recommended sequence for your best learning and practical application.
Q: Can I take the ICPA seminars in more than one location?
A: Yes, you can take the seminars in more than one location, however if you are in one our payment programs, the fees are NOT tranferable should you take a class at Parker College or Northwestern Health Sciences University.
Q: When can I start the ICPA 180 hour certification program?
A: DCs: can start the ICPA 180 hour certification program at any time. Students can enroll in the ICPA 180 hour certification program in your fifth trimester. Attendees enrolled in the ICPA 180 hour certification program at Parker College; registration and enrollment is through the postgraduate department at Parker College-#1-800-266-4723. Atttendees enrolled in the ICPA 180 hour certification program at NWHS; registration and enrollement is through the NWHS postgraduate department at #952-88-477. Q: What is the ICPA cancellation policy on ICPA seminars?
A: Every attempt is made to offer this program as announced. The ICPA reserves the right, however, to adjust program faculty, location, dates, times and tuition to accommodate unanticipated occurrences. The ICPA notifies cancellations via the ICPA homepage www.icpa4kids.com website and e-mail. The ICPA’s primary way of contacting about cancellations/delays is via e-mail and the ICPA website. It is always advisable to check the website and your e-mail the night before the seminar for any unforeseen cancellations. Please keep your e-mail current with us at all times.
Q: Can I receive continuing education credits by attending ICPA seminars? If so, how many hours can I receive and what is the cost to receive CE credits?
A: All ICPA seminars are open for continuing education hours. Each seminar offers 12 hours of continuing education credit. Please check the ICPA seminar locations pages to make sure your state is approved for the location you want to attend. The cost is $35 per state per individual 12 hour seminar to process continuing education hours.
Q: Can I request continuing education hours after the seminar has already taken place?
A: The ICPA will be able to process continuing education hours after the seminar has already taken place. There is an additional $25 administration fee in addition to the $35 continuing education processing fee. Q: What happens if I cannot attend a seminar once I have signed up? What is the ICPA’s refund policy? Can I make it up at another time?

Webster Certification Questions:
Q: Can students sit for the Webster Proficiency Exam?
A: Yes, students can sit for the Webster Proficiency Exam. Students are eligible to get their Webster certificate once they are a licensed DC ICPA member.
Q: Do you have to be an ICPA member to test for the Webster Proficiency Exam?
A: Yes, you are required to be an ICPA student or DC member. Students are required to contact the ICPA office once licensed to update their membership to DC status and receive their Webster certificate.
You are also required to be an ICPA member to receive the Webster certification and to maintain your Webster certification DC membership is required.
Q: When is the Webster certification taught?
A: The Webster certification is taught throughout the weekend.
Q: When does the Webster certification exam occur?
A: The Webster certification exam is held on Sunday at 12 noon, immediately following the class. It takes approximately 30 minutes.
Q: Which class do I have to take to get Webster certified?
A: You are required to attend the Perinatal Care: Webster Certification class taught by Dr. Jeanne Ohm.
Q: Do I have to be an ICPA member to receive the Webster certificate?
A: Yes, you are required to be an ICPA DC member to get Webster certified.
Q: Do I have to attend the full 12 hours to get Webster Certified?
A: Yes, you are required to attend the full 12 hour seminar to get Webster certified. Attendees missing any time of the 12 hour class will be asked to re-take the portion that they have missed. If you miss time at the Perinatal Care: Webster Certification class at the Parker College location or the NWHS location; additional fees for makeup hours will be required.
Q: How long does it take to test for the Webster Proficiency?
A: Dr. Jeanne Ohm will hold the Webster proficiency exam testing process for an hour and depending on the size of the class the Webster proficiency exam process could take an hour to two hours.
Q: Is there an additional fee to get Webster certified?
A: Yes, there is a $45 Webster certification fee
Diplomate Part One: The ICPA 180-hour Certification Program (C.A.C.C.P.) Questions:
Q: What is the entire 360 Hour Diplomate program consisting of?
A: The entire 360 Hour Diplomate program consists of Diplomate Part One: The ICPA 180 hour Certification Program (C.A.C.C.P.) and the remaining 180 credit hours for Diplomate Status (Part Two).
Q : What are the steps to enrollment and completion of the ICPA 180 hour certification program?
A : The certification program consists of 15 modules: 14 classroom modules and a PBRN research clinical module.
***The entire 180 hours for Certification is referred to as Part One because it provides the initial 180 hours towards Diplomate status.
Q: What is taught during the ICPA 180 hour certification modules?
A: The classes are taught by the leading authorities in chiropractic family wellness today. Special emphasis is placed on hands on adjusting techniques and practical information so that attendees can return to their offices and implement what they have learned immediately.
Q: What techniques are taught in the ICPA seminar modules?
A: All techniques taught in the certification are those techniques currently taught in CCE approved chiropractic colleges. They are: Thompson, Diversified, Gonstead, Logan, SOT adapted for children and pregnant mothers.
Q: How long does it take to complete the ICPA 180 hour certification program?
A: The 180 hours and its 14 classroom modules are scheduled monthly and take 14 months to complete. If you miss any classes in your location, the ICPA recommends you make up any missed classes in another location within a two year time period. This will avoid the potential of having to take additional classes in the event of curriculum updates.
Q: What is the Practice Based Research Network Module or PBRN module listed Mod 15 on the schedules?
A: The PBRN is a Practiced Based Research Network project where you acquire credit by collecting data in your practice that will be used towards research.
Q: What are the requirements for the PBRN module?
A: This module is open to Doctors only. Students complete this module once they have graduated and are in active practice. As with all modules, there is a fee for participation.
Q: When should I register for the, the 15th module of the ICPA 15 module 180 hour certification program?
A: As a DC, as soon as you are enrolled in the ICPA 180 hour certification, you are eligible to register and meet these requirements. We encourage you to sign up immediately so that you can participate in our current project, fulfill your requirements necessary for certification and also assist us with this much needed data.
Q: Is there a cost to register for the PBRN if I am enrolling in the PBRN for Certification status?
A: Yes, the cost is $250. If you are paid in full for the program this is your complimentary module and you are not required to pay $250.
Diplomate Part Two: 360 Hour Diplomate Program (D.A.C.C.P.) Questions:
Q: Can you start Part Two while completing Part One?
A : Enrollment in Part One is a prerequisite to begin Part Two. You can start Part Two if you are a licensed DC and be enrolled in Part One: The 180 hour certification program or have completed the ICPA 180 hour certification program.
Q: What is involved with completing the Part Two of the Diplomate Program?
A: The first step is to make a formal application to the Academy of Family Practice into the Diplomate Program. Your Diplomate application is reviewed and you are able to enter the Diplomate program. Diplomate application can be found here:
Diplomate Application
A: The Diplomate Part Two is designed to help you further your education from Part One and to be involved contributing back to the chiropractic pediatric profession by way of research, education and community. As Diplomates you are asked to complete a variety of hours of coursework that can all be completed in-office at online study.
