I have taken the 120 hour Certification Program with the I.C.P.A. Does it apply towards the new 180 hour Certification and the 360 Hour Diplomate Program?
Yes, the former I.C.P.A. 120 hour Certificate Program is applicable towards the new 180 Certification Program. Depending on when you took the 120 Hour Certification Program you may be required to take refresher classes to apply credits towards the 180 hour certification. Upon completion of the 180 Hour Certification, you are eligible to go to the Diplomate. All required ICPA/ 180 Hour Certification classes are listed here.
I have taken the classes from the previous I.C.P.A. diplomate program Years Two and Three. Do any of these credits apply?
The ICPA Diplomate is no longer divided into a 3 year program. Classes you have taken previously can be grand fathered in for credit on a case by case consideration. Please contact the office for additional information.
Can I transfer from another Diplomate program to the I.C.P.A. program?
Perhaps. Each Doctor will be individually reviewed and must write a letter of intent submitting syllabuses for the courses you have taken elsewhere. Your completed courses will be reviewed by our Diplomate committee, and you will be notified as to which classes may be transferable to our course.
