Board of Chiropractic Examiners
Rules & Regulations
Regarding Your Attendance At
Relicensing Seminars:

Below is that section of the Board of Examiners' Rules & Regulations that explain YOUR requirements for attendance and OUR requirements to monitor your attendance. Note particularly the last sentence, which we have underlined.
"Sect. 357. Approval and Withdrawl of Approval. (f) each director or person in charge of an approved course in continuing education shall be responsible for maintaining full-time monitoring of the seminar attendance. If absence from the room exceeds ten (10) minutes during any one hour period, credit for that hour will be forfeited. It will further be the responsibility of the monitor or monitors to see that each person in attendance is in place in a timely manner at the start of each lecture. Failure to maintain proper monitoring procedures as prescribed, may be grounds for withdrawal of seminar approval"
We MUST comply with these Rules. We have no Authority to grant exceptions. If we do not comply, the entire seminar could be disapproved by the State Board and ALL attendees would lose relicensing credit.
PLEASE...It is YOUR responsibility to comply with the rules above. And it is OUR responsibility to see that you do.

Thank you for your cooperation.

INTERNATIONAL CHIROPRACTORS ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA (ICAC)

License Renewal Notes:
License Renewal Voucher Fees are an additional $35 per state or province.
If approvals are not yet posted for a particular location, please call your state board for updates.

It is the responsibility of the attending doctor to be aware of the continuing education rules and regulations of the state(s) in which he/she is licensed, including what topics are acceptable for continuing education/license renewal credit.

"Approved states" may, in some cases, refer to state boards of chiropractic education that do not require an application from ICPA because of our co-sponsorship with various colleges. Please check with your board for the latest continuing education information.
